Did you ever know
How they tormented Ukraine
The beautiful fertile land
Turned into a wasteland
The green grass
Covered with blood
The innocent civilians
Became collateral victims
The war took their lives
Even prevented their final rites
The invaders came with heavy guns
Then the artillery shells exploded
They brought death and destruction
They created a post-apocalyptic world
The world became stunned
Witnessing atrocities
Yet did nothing
The missiles and airstrikes
Destroyed houses and bridges
But they couldn't destroy the Ukrainian spirit
I saw a little girl
Whose parents were consumed by the war
She was wounded too
Despite her pain and agony
She started singing
She sang " Shche ne vmerla Ukrainy"
Indeed Ukraine has not yet perished
Ukraine will gain her strength
She will not give up
She will rise again

ReplyDeleteInitially Ukraine was given false promise by western countries to pinch Russia. Now IMF giving loan to Ukraine for purchasing lethal weapon. From where they purchase arms from? UK,USA and France both countries trapped to so called democratic countries strategy.
