Earth appears as a blue dot

It showed us our ephemeral place amidst the cosmos
It confirmed our cosmic insignificance
Debunked the myth of egocentrism
Broke the delusion about our privileged position in the Universe
We are not unique or idiosyncratic
The universe is immense, and we are very tiny
We are trivial; we are inconsequential
Human life is a split second
Man's life is brief and powerless
Our lifetime is faster and shorter than the blink of an eye

Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena

We are mortal and fragile and constantly changing

We are not the kings of the Universe
